Project Attributes 3D Rigging

China, a vast country with an astonishingly diverse landscape. As a Chinese, I am very proud of our mother land: Amazing landscapes, beautiful flowers, and precious wildlife.

My MFA thesis was a 3D Animation titled “Paradise in the East”,  which introduced some magnificent sceneries in China’s countryside. 3D Visuals took references based on some real places in China such as The Great Wall, Zhang jiajie National Park, and West Lake. I hoped this piece not only show those amazing places to the world, but also arouse people to care about it and to protect those national and cultural treasure.

Software I used to create this project included Autodesk Maya, Maxon Cinema 4D, Vue Xstream, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro.
